Something that bugs me about most of Tommy and Billy’s guest appearances that have to do with Wanda is that they’re presented as a unit. They’re her kids, they’re barely individuals. Which is so sad because they couldn’t be any more different in how they perceive her. 

Billy looks up to her as his favorite Avenger and he jumped through so many logical hoops to see why that would make sense because oh my gosh I’m the Scarlet Witch’s kid but at the same time he’s grounded in his birth family, in his current identity, in his current life. 

Tommy meanwhile would latch onto her but at the same time hold her at an arm’s length because, like he said in ACC, “we found her and now we’re going to lose her again”. He’s a lot more bitter and apprehensive but at the same time Wanda was one of the few people who acknowledged Tommy, who didn’t condemn him as being the seed of all evils. Who was proud of him. And opposed to Billy, it’s something he rarely gets. 

I felt it a lot during the Scarlet Witch ongoing too, how they were always talked about, but as a unit. As a single entity. Who they were, the finer dynamics between each of them and Wanda, and between themselves, didn’t matter. And the sad thing is that it would’ve been such a better introspective into that topic, to see Wanda actually interact with them instead of talk about them. Bonus points if she had some alone time with either because let’s face facts - Tommy and Billy probably don’t even like each other that much. They certainly were never shown to get along too well. And introducing them as this hive-mind duo whenever Wanda is brought up just does a horrible disservice to all involved. Especially Tommy whose appearances are already so few and far in between.

I miss my boys, is the bottom line here I guess

Given Persona lore, it’s actually not all that implausible that Joker stole the invite from a character who *really* wanted to be in the game. If I remember correctly, the treasure of a palace is a manifestation of whatever that person desires most/twisted their desires in the first place, right?

Well I can certainly see an invitation to smash materializing in some characters’ palace as their treasure

In other words, what I’m saying is that the Phantom Thieves broke into Waluigi’s Palace and stole the manifested invitation he so desperately wanted but could never have.

i think cutting family members who have hurt and traumatized you out of your life is very fun and fresh and sexy and i think that people who says things like “family is family” or question people for their choice to do something like that have no understanding of just how bad it can be
